Somalia’s PM Hamze Abdi Barre appointed his second deputy PM Jibril Abdirashid Abdi as caretaker leader of South West State of Somalia.
South West state administration is in political turmoil after Federal government ousted its leader Abdiaziz Laftagaren on 30th March.
Several heavyweight politicians from South West state with the ambition of leading South West state are currently in Baidoa.
The Federal Government decided to appoint Jibril as caretaker leader until new administration is formed.
Former leader Abdiaziz Laftagaren fled to Nairobi after Federal army assumed the control of Baidoa city.
