This morning Al shabab fighters stormed a Jubaland administration security forces base in Kudha island in southern Somalia.
Photos released by the terrorists claimed they captured the base where they ran away in 2014.
Thise attack cames as militants increased attacks against Federal Government and Member states security bases.
After they seized Kudha island US airstrikes reported the vicinity no casualties reported yet.
Since 2014 Jubaland security forces stationed Kudha island a strategic port island.
Before 2014 Al shabab used the island port which is 120km south of Kismayo city to export illegal charcoal to finance their crimes against civilians.
