Somalia joins condemnation of Iranian attacks against Arab States in the Middle East.

H.E. Mr. Hasan Mohamed Ali, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, participated in the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States (LAS) at the ministerial level on Tuesday, held via videoconference. The meeting considered the draft resolution submitted by the Kingdom of Bahrain concerning the Iranian attacks against Arab states and the obligations of the Islamic Republic of Iran under international law.

The Federal Republic of Somalia expressed its full support for Arab states in confronting these attacks and strongly condemned Iranian measures.

Somalia reaffirmed its commitment to upholding international law, safeguarding global maritime routes, and supporting collective efforts that promote regional stability, while underscoring that Arab solidarity remains a strategic imperative and calling for a unified position to protect Arab national security and preserve the rules-based international order.
