Turkish Minister of National Defense Yasar Güler says that there are African countries particularly in Horn of Africa which are requesting Türkiye the model it is implementing in Somalia.
He didn’t mention those countries but said they are evaluating those requests from Somalia’s neighboring countries.
“We are determined to continue providing maximum support to the counter-terrorism operations carried out by the Somali National Army, and to ensure the security of drilling activities and the “Spaceport and Test Firing Range” being constructed in Somalia.
Several other countries in the Horn of Africa are requesting the same model we are implementing in Somalia to establish peace, stability, and maritime security. We are evaluating these requests.” Said the Turkish defense Minister.
