Bosaso Port in Somalia’s Puntland state has been closed for 11th day over taxes and tariffs hike by the DPworld .
Merchants who import goods through the Port said that they can’t afford the heavy taxes imposed by DP World officials which leaded the closure of lifeline Port for the 11th Day.
They accused the leadership of the Puntland state DP World that they only collect taxes, impose what their mind told them and don’t consider the Traders concern.
Traders said that they will continue protest until the Puntland and DP World reconsider their decisions.
Also they warn that if the Puntland authorities and DP World didn’t revise their decisions ,they will increase prices of the goods to the consumers.
