Ambassador Alper Aktas from the Republic of Türkiye ends his tenure in Somalia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Türkiye Republic appointed his replacement Ambassador to Mogadishu last month.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, today received at the Ministry’s headquarters the Ambassador of the sisterly Republic of Türkiye to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Alper Aktaş, on a farewell courtesy call marking the end of his diplomatic tenure.
The Minister commended the Ambassador’s service and his contribution to strengthening Somalia-Türkiye cooperation, reaffirmed the fraternal ties between the two countries, and wished him success in his future responsibilities.
