Mr. Ahmed Shide has been sworn in as the speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives following his appointment in Adis Ababa.

By this, Mr. Ahmed Shede has been appointed as the speaker of the house of assembly per Ethiopian National News.
Ahmed Shide is an Ethiopian-Somali politician who has served as the Minister of Finance of Ethiopia since October 2018.
He was formerly the Minister of Communication Affairs from April to October 2018, until the ministry was dissolved by the cabinet of Abiy Ahmed,
