A large delegation from Uganda, consisting of directors, officials, and business representatives, was welcomed today at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
The Ugandan Ambassador to Somalia, Ambassador Fardowsa Mohamed Qanyare, along with diplomats from the Ugandan Embassy in Mogadishu, received the delegation at the airport.
The delegation arrived in Mogadishu to participate in the Somalia-Uganda Business Forum and the annual meeting of the Somalia-Uganda Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation (JPC). These meetings focus on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing trade and economic cooperation.
Ambassador Fardowsa Mohamed Qanyare told the media that these meetings present an important opportunity to further solidify relations between the two countries and boost cooperation across various sectors.
This marks the first time Somalia is hosting these meetings, following two previous editions hosted by Uganda.
