A Turkish drilling Ship and two others Ships to arrive Somalia waters next week Turkey Government confirms.
The Ministry of National Defense announced that TCG Sancaktar, TCG Gökova, and TCG Bafra ships have been assigned to protect Çağrı Bey.
The task group, consisting of a frigate, corvette, and landing ship, will arrive in Djibouti on February 7 and in Somalia on February 11.
Those ships with security forces also secure Somalia maritime security from Gulf of Aden to the Indian Ocean coastline.
Turkey and Somalia signed several agreements from development, defense, security and spaceport centre.
Recently Turkey brought to Somalia three F-16 jets to support Somalia’s military offence against terrorists.
