Djiboutian contingent deployed to Somalia as part of African Union peace and security mission in Somalia.
At their firewall ceremony Djibouti’s top General Zakaria Sheikh Ibrahim told the contingent to keep Djiboutian dignity and shed their blood to Somalia’s brotherly nation.
An emotional speech by Army Corps General Zakaria Sheikh Ibrahim, the highest authority of the Djiboutian army, addressing the troops departing for Somalia to guarantee the security of that brotherly country, reminding them that it is our duty to shed our blood and die for peace in Somalia.
Since establishment of the AU mission in Somalia Djibouti is part of the mission alongside Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Ethiopia and other troops contributors from Africa.
