Somalia and Vietnam had established their first diplomatic relations as Somalia’s first and new ambassador presented credentials to the Vietnamese president.
Ambassador Dr Hodan Osman has made history as the first Somali diplomat to present credentials to President Lương Cường of Vietnam.
The ceremony in Hanoi marks a new era of cooperation, with a focus on trade, agriculture, and manufacturing between the two nations.
Ambassador Hodan Osman is also Somalia’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China and other Asian countries.
