Somalia’s National Army successfully cleared the very needed 90km Road linking Mogadishu to Jowhar in Hirshabelle state.
This Road closed by terrorists for ten years, civilians started moving freely for the first time in 10 years.
Turkiye trained Gorgor elite Commando begun their operations against terrorists at Bal’ad district to Jowhar city the capital of Hirshabelle state.
Gorgor’s 18th Battalion Commander leads the operation, while they were towards Jowhar city they removed landmines planted by terrorists to hurt civilians using the road.
Recently Gorgor forces alongside other Somali National army reopened 245km Road between Mogadishu and Baidoa city of South West State, which has closed terrorists fro 19 years.
