Share

Military officers in Guinea-Bissau announced Wednesday they were taking “total control” of the country and were closing its borders.

They also said electoral processes have been suspended, three days after the nation held legislative and presidential elections. Earlier, gunfire rocked the country’s presidential palace.

Election Commission didn’t announced official results but opposition candidates and sitting president claimed victory.

It is the 10th Coup witnessed this country since independence.
