Three Police Officers Injured in Fafi IED Blast, Airlifted to Nairobi for treatment.
Three police officers were injured after a water bowser they were escorting was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Fafi Sub-County, Garissa County.
The injured officers were airlifted to Nairobi for specialized medical treatment, with authorities launching investigations to secure the area and prevent further attacks.
Kenya’s president William Ruto announced that next April his Government will reopen border with Somalia after 15 years of closure.
Also two border posts were reopened to allow Kenya miraa to go inside Somalia by land.
