The Ma’awisley militiamen have killed senior Al shabab leader who was assigned as their Ruun Nirgood district Commissioner.
Hassan Alasow Rage was in Ruun Nirgood when two young Militia shot and killed him last night.
After his assassination the two young militias from Ma’awisley men took his Rifle and Fekon Motorcycle he was using.
Ruun Nirgood is among middle Shabelle region districts previously fought by al shabab and Somalia National Army alongside AUSSOM troops.
The Ma’awisley clan militias fight alongside Somali National Army to counter Al shabab in Somalia.
