Speaking at the inauguration of one of the clan leaders in Mogadishu today, Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said that political deferences will be resolved peacefully.
Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh says political disputes “will be resolved” and elders from all five Somali regions “will return with good news” from the capital.
“The political disputes currently being contested will be resolved, and the elders who have gathered in the capital from the five Somali regions will return with good news.”
As he spoke front of those opposition heavyweights he told them that he is ready to negotiate and end political stalemate in coming days.
President Hassan calls Clan elders not to return to their respective areas until he met with them and consult national issues.
