Somalia’s Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Massad Boulos the US senior advisor for the Arab and Africa affairs on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
They discusssed further strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation on matters of mutual interest and maintaining close coordination on regional and global priorities.
The President also underscored Somalia’s ongoing political and institutional progress, including efforts to advance democratisation.
US mostly supports Somalia’s army forces for their fight against terrorists.
Air support helped Somalia army to regain more territory from Al shabab in central and southern Somalia.
