Sa’dia Yasin Samatar become first Somali Female to chair Somalia’s house of people.
Last four years she was first deputy of the Parliament Speaker and today got as the interim Speaker.
Former lower house Speaker Aden Mohamed Nur Madobe who was recently elected as the new leader of Southwest handed over to Sa’dia as new Interim Speaker.
Madobe become Southwest State Leader following Federal Government’s oust against Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagaren Former Southwest State leader on March 30 this year.
Sa’dia was elected on April 2022 as first Female deputy Speaker and today become the new interim Speaker of the house of people.
