The Somali government, in its ongoing efforts to rescue Somali citizens facing hardships across the globe, has today repatriated 129 citizens, allowing them to reunite with their families.
​The aircraft transporting these citizens landed in Hargeisa, where 19 individuals disembarked, while the remaining 110 were brought to Mogadishu.
​The returnees were welcomed at Aden Adde International Airport by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Advisor to the Office of the Special Envoy for Migrants and Children’s Rights, and officials from the National Commission for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
The officials offered words of advice and awareness to the citizens, urging them to avoid the dangers and risks associated with illegal migration.
