The Danab Commandos of the Somali National Armed Forces, with support from international partners, conducted a targeted operation against the Al-Shabaab militants in the vicinity of the Warmaxan in Lower Shabelle region.
The operation resulted in the killing of two terrorists militants, while two others were captured alive.
Additionally, the operation led to the seizure of explosive materials that the terrorists had planned to use against civilians, and the operation also destroyed a terrorists base used to terrorize the population.
