Rwandan Government received 173 asylum seekers evacuated from Libya under a humanitarian transit programme supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The latest group includes 12 South Sudanese nationals, alongside asylum seekers from Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia and Ethiopia, according to Rwanda’s Ministry of Emergency Management.
Recent years Rwandan Government were receiving Asylum seekers from the world in collaboration with UNHCR under Transit programme.
