Somalia authorized this week to issue it’s deferent passports appearing East Africa Community by the bloc.
The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Tanzania Ilyas Ali Hassan delivered the Community bloc the design and colours of the three stage passports.
Mr Ilyas said “This is how the Somali passport could look if aligned with the East African Community e-Passport standards & it could be a step forward in EAC regional integration.”
Somalia produces Ordinary passports, Service Passports for Government Civil servants and diplomatic passports.
As you can see these photos the three passports look like previous passports added to the name if the EAC bloc.
Mostly passports of the East African Community members are blue white but Somalia chosen to use its previous design.
