Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Somali Federal Republic President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on the sidelines of the Doha Forum.
During the meeting, bilateral relations, regional developments, and cooperation in the field of security were discussed. Both sides emphasized their determination to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
As part of the meeting, Fidan and Mohamud also evaluated the current situation in the Horn of Africa, as well as opportunities for cooperation in economic and development projects.
Highlighting the importance of deepening the friendly relations between Türkiye and Somalia, the parties stated that mutual engagements would continue.
