Türkiye and Ethiopia signed a memorandum of understanding on energy cooperation during President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Addis Ababa.
According to Türkiye’s Energy Ministry, the agreement will pave the way for joint projects in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
It also includes cooperation on the production and installation of hydroelectric power plant equipment and electric turbines.
As Turkey investment in Ethiopia passes $3B USD both countries working closely to develop strategic and economic partnerships.
Abiye’s focus is to secure sea access through Turkish diplomatic relations with Indian Ocean and Redsea countries.
