Federal Government of Somalia’s Minister of Interior Security, l Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail officially received military equipment from the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia.
This equipment is designated for a unit in the Haramcad Special Police Force.Attendees included Somali Police Commissioner Major General Asad Osman Abdullahi, Ministry of Interior Security Director General Mr. Yusuf Ali, and other officials.
The handover occurred at the Haramcad Force headquarters in Mogadishu Somalia.
Officials described the equipment as modern, boosting the unit’s operational strength, training, and preparedness.
The unit just finished advanced training to sharpen security and anti-terrorism skills.
They thanked Turkey for supporting Somalia’s security agencies, emphasizing the gear’s key role in national security and stability.
