Turkish Parliament has approved grant support agreement signed between Türkiye and Somalia to construct Somalia’s embassy in Ankara.
Under the agreement, Türkiye will support the construction of the Somali Embassy complex in Ankara.
The project is considered an important step toward deepening the strategic partnership and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The measure was adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly and officially became law.
Türkiye Government handed over to Somalia Government the land intended to the construction of Somalia’s embassy.
Ankara’s biggest embassy locates in Somalia, while also Türkiye’s biggest oversea military base in Mogadishu.
