The drillship Abdülhamid Han has begun the year’s first exploratory drilling at the Kandıra-2 well off the coast of Kocaeli, Türkiye.
In April, the Fatih drillship will operate at the Eflani-1 well, while the Çağrı Bey is scheduled to start drilling at the Curad-1 well in Somalia by the end of the month.
Over the past decade, Türkiye has deployed a powerful energy fleet, including advanced drillships such as Fatih, Yavuz, Kanuni, and Abdülhamid Han, along with seismic research vessels Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa and Oruç Reis.
