AUSSOM UPDF Contingent Commander, Brig. Gen. Jackson Kayanja on Tuesday met troops at Sector One HQ in Mogadishu.
He underscored vigilance and operational readiness in support of Somalia-led stabilisation efforts.
Brig. Gen. Kayanja stressed discipline, teamwork, and transparency as critical to operational effectiveness.
Sector One Deputy Commander, Col. Francis Obita Aragamoi highlighted perseverance, endurance, and patience as core military values reflecting the proud traditions of the UPDF.
Senior Sector One officers, including Col. Hamza Kasaija, Lt Col. Jean Rukira, Lt Col. Gervas Kabagambe, attended the meeting.
