A Turkish Air Force cargo plane of the A400M Atlas type landed in Mogadishu today.
It is the 7th military shipment delivered to Mogadishu within the week.
The shipment includes F-16 aircraft that will be used by the Turkish forces.
Several sources have stated that they will be taken to Wargadhi Airport, where Turkish forces will be stationed to protect the spaceport facility on the outskirts of Warsheekh, as well as to train the Somali Air Force.
On Monday Turkey troops in Somalia involved first direct combat with Al shabab at the outskirt of Warsheikh district.
Somali National Army alongside Turkey troops drove out Al shabab at Jabad gadone Army base, which is now Forward Operation Base the Somali forces.
