Turkiye says its agreement with Somalia to build spaceport and ICBM test sites center in Somalia is one of its best agreements.
“The Spaceport Project in Somalia, There are only 4–5 places in the world where you can establish a serious equatorial launch site, and Türkiye has secured one of them,” said Bülent Altan, Founding Partner of the space-focused venture capital firm Alpine Space Ventures, praising Türkiye’s Spaceport Project.
Türkiye has developed Intercontinental Ballistic missiles and satellites but can’t access launch sites in it is territory.
To develop its defense and technology industry it signed several pacts with Somalia where equatorial is through.
