Forty-three AUSSOM Ghana Formed Police Unit (GFPU) officers were today decorated in Baidoa following their promotion by the Ghana Police Administration.
Presiding over the ceremony on behalf of AUSSOM Police Commissioner, AIG Hillary Sao Kanu, Police Coordinator ACP Samuel Okanta congratulated the officers and emphasised the increased responsibility and professionalism that come with advancement in rank.
Ghana FPU Contingent Commander CSP Benjamin Dokurugu said the promotions are a recognition of the officers dedication and professionalism, urging them to uphold the values of the Ghana Police Service and AUSSOM.
The officers were promoted to the ranks of Chief Inspector, Inspector and Sergeant, and formally presented with their new insignia.
