The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr Abdifatah Abdulkadir Farah, accompanied by the Director of the Somali National Army Hospital, Captain, Mustafa Hussein Abdulle, today received medical equipment donated by the Government of Italy for the Somali National Army Hospital.
The Permanent Secretary expressed his gratitude to the Government of Italy—particularly the National Alpini Association—for delivering this donation to Somalia, noting that it reflects strong bonds of friendship and sustained support aimed at strengthening the development of Somali national institutions, especially healthcare services for the Somali National Army.
Mr Abdifatah Abdulkadir Farah also commended the European Union Training Mission in Somalia (EUTM) and the Italian National Contingent Command – Civil–Military Cooperation (ITNCC-CIMIC) for their effective role in facilitating and coordinating this medical donation.
