The Republic of Türkiye commenced it’s role to broker Somali politicians after negotiations brokered by UK and US ended failure.
Türkiye’s ambassador to Somalia Alper Aktaş paid courtesy visit to Somalia’s presidential palace and met president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
This meeting come after some Türkiye parliament MPs called president Erdoğan to take his role and save Somalia’s governance.
Türkiye which has positive impact on Somalia’s issues and both current Government and opposition see it as reliable partner is currently trying to invite both parties to other negotiation table.
Somalia’s future Council accused President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on the responsibility of the current uncertainty.
But he is urging that his government has one year remaining per new Constitution approved by the two houses on last February.
