Puntland state of Somalia security forces clashed with pirates at Durdura vicinity Bari coastal region.
Police said while they were in a patrol they met with small Boat from the sea where pirates hold hijacked Ship.
Pirates trying to collect Khat from pick up vehicle who brought them the khat at the coast.
Police spokesperson said they exchanged fire with pirates, and arrested the pick-up driver.
The pirates with the small boat return to the sea towards the hijacked Ship.
Recently pirates activities in Somalia’s coastline and Gulf of Aden increased.
Dozens of abduction attempts failed while others succeeded.
