Former Türkiye Ambassador to Somalia Dr C.Kani Turan callas again president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye to send his foreign minister to Somalia to save the Türkiye’s of last 15 years.

Clashes broke out throughout last night in the Somalian capital, Mogadishu, between government forces and tribal forces supporting opposition politicians.
In fact, both the US and UK Embassies have issued statements.
Local media reports also indicate that our Deputy Director of MIT has rushed to Mogadishu.
Over the past month, during my parliament speech, I called upon our Honorable President to urgently dispatch a mediation delegation, and I also announced a ten-point action plan.
Now, our Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs must urgently go to Mogadishu and convince the parties to agree on a peaceful action plan.
Our Honorable President must re-establish direct contact and keep communication channels open with Somalia’s former presidents and former prime ministers, who previously invited Turkey and our Honorable President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Somalia, and who played an important role in building Turkey-Somalia relations.
In this critical period, Turkey must be in a position to speak with all legitimate actors in Somalia.
Turkey’s interest lies not in tailing a single individual or group, but in acting with a vision that embraces all of Somalia, Otherwise, 15 years of effort could go to waste.
We must not allow Somalia a country whose recovery from civil war we contributed to with immense effort to be dragged back into a civil war.
