Somalia’s National Intelligence and security Agency said after a operation support by the locals successfully recovered chemicals stored underground by the terrorist.
“With the support of locals, the special forces of the National Intelligence and Security Agency discovered jerrycans filled with highly flammable chemicals and substances buried in the ground in Jilib Marka, Lower Shabelle region.
These chemicals were stored by terrorists to be used in manufacturing explosives and IEDs to harm civilians and security forces.” Agency said.
Chemical Experts say these materials can be used to manufacture explosives.
Locals Officials said they received the information on Thursday and reported to the relevant agencies.
