Somalia’s highest military court sentenced life time to Idiris Mohamed Sheikh Mohamed a top al shabab member.
Mr Idiris was member of the terrorist organization since its beginning, he held several positions from Districts, regions to the Majlis.
He held Commissioner of the Dinsoor, Baidoa, and Berdale Districts and also Governor of the middle Shabelle region for terrorists.
Security forces apprehended him in Galgudud region July, 2024, while he was trying to cross from central regions to the south.
Military low court sentenced him 15 years but prosecutors took an appeal and the top Military court gave him life time sentence.
