Garissa residents asked Government to reopen border with Somalia to have access businesses between two communities.
At election campaign rally in Garissa people said they are in need of reopening Liboi and Dhobley border where most communities movement is restricted by KDF.
At Dhobley border town traders use secret routes to inter Kenya, where sometimes Kenyan troops meet with contraband products from Somalia.
When you meet with people in Garissa or Northeastern at large they depend on Somalia and they need to have legal access to the Somalia ports.
Kenya security forces shut the border 15 years ago following al shabab attacks inside Kenya.
