The Federal Government of Somalia and Turkish Republic discussed ways of enhancing Somalia’s Fishing sector.
Ambassador Ferhat Alkan paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Somali Fisheries and Blue Economy, Mr. Ahmed Hassan Aden.
During the meeting, licensing to strengthen the fishing sector in Somalia, development of the fishing infrastructure, sustainable fishing, combating illegal fishing, and wide-ranging cooperation projects including sectoral training were discussed.
Turkey will continue to support Somalia’s vision for fishing and blue economy.
