Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called Somaliland and Northeastern states to start negotiations to release prisoners captured in 2023.
Hamza said both regional states to commence releasing prisoners specially Northeastern to star the move as goodwill.
Last year the PM visited Las anod and successfully released 25 prisoners heal from Somaliland who were jailed in Northeastern state.
Somaliland authority leader Abdirahman Irro says his administration is ready prisoners exchange to get lasting peace for both Communities.
The Prime Minister visited Las anod two days ago to participate the 1st anniversary of the Northeastern state establishment.
