The Turkish Government says that it’s fishing vessels will arrive Somalia near future to increase Somalia’s fishing export department.
Speaking at the Somalia’s first maritime Conference held in Mogadishu Türkiye Ambassador to Somalia said that they will send Fishing vessels to Somalia.
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Somalia, Alper Aktaş, said the Somalia Maritime Conference marks an important milestone in bilateral cooperation, announcing that Turkish fishing vessels will arrive in Somalia in the coming months.
Ambassador Aktaş stated that the vessels will help unlock Somalia’s blue economy potential, adding, “15 or 20 years ago, such a vision would have seemed impossible.
Türkiye and Somalia signed dozens of agreements between the two countries to development their bilateral relations and boost their trade and investment.
