Houthis fighters in Yemen threaten to target Zionist state military and assets in Somalia.
Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthis’ political bureau, said that the Yemeni militant group will attack “any military or intelligence presence” of the Israeli regime in Somalia and other places near Yemen’s borders, according to Iran’s semi-official media outlet Tasnim News Agency.
The militant group carried out several attacks over the last couple of days, including a missile attack on a Saudi commercial ship in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait that left six people dead, and reportedly an attack on Yemen’s Mokha port.
Late last year the Zionist state claims it recognised north western Somali regions as an independent state.
Intelligence reports indicate that the Zionist established Military base and also sent 50 Israeli soldiers originally hail Ethiopians to the region to train the secessionist forces.
