The Traditional elders from the regions self-proclaimed as Somaliland have called for unity and reconciliation among the Somali people.
King Ibrahim King Ali, one of these elders who recently arrived in Mogadishu, stated that they are the first group, for traditional elders from the northern regions who will soon be arriving in Mogadishu.
King Ibrahim requested that the Federal Government show flexibility toward the people of the north who declared secession.
He stated that the pressure people face regarding E-Visas should be eased, and efforts should be made to secure the release of prisoners held by the Somaliland and North-East administrations.
