The East African Community Court of has affirmed the legitimacy of the Members of Parliament representing the Federal Republic of Somalia in the East African Legislative Assembly, dismissing the case brought against them.
Somalia’s ambassador to Tanzania Ilyas Ali confirmed that the nine-member delegation is expected to be officially sworn in the coming days after court rules in favor to the MPs.
Some Candidates sued the elected MPs in last November calling their election corrupt and illegitimate, but after months of hearing finally decision made.
