The East African Community Court rejected the parliamentarians representing Somalia over their election mismanagement.
Three of the members who were prevented from competing filed the lawsuit.
Ali Abdinor, Abdirahman Salihi and ambassador Awil former Somalia ambassador to China are those who filed the lawsuit.
The election was marred by corruption, with some members who paid the registration fee, obtained a certificate of innocence, and met the requirements being barred from competing.
The federal government has not yet commented on this issue and it is unknown what next steps it will take.
