The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has appointed Major General Mohamed Ali Barise as the Deputy Commander of the Somali National Army.
Gen. Barise is one the those Commanders rebuilding Somalia’s National Army.
He previously held this position, although former President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo removed him from the post in February 2020.
He has high military training and certifications, President Mohamud promoted to the Army General over his outstanding performance inside the Somali National Army.
