Somalia’s Defence Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi accused the Yemeni Houthis involving Somalia’s insecurity with direct links.
“We are fighting against terrorists like Al shabab and ISIS, but Houthis come from behind and supporting terrorists to undermine Somalia.” Said thr Minister.
For long time there were reports that shows Houthis relations with Al shabab.
Maritime security agencies prevented Army smuggling from Houthis to Somalia’s Al shabab at several occasions.
Houthis didn’t respond Somalia’s claim of Houthis support terrorists in Somalia.
