The African Union and Governments of France and Kenya agreed that Nairobi is selected to host next year’s Africa-France summit.
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, received H.E. George Orina, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kenya to the African Union, and H.E. Alexis Lamek, Ambassador of France to African Union.
The exchange focused on preparations for the Africa–France Summit “Africa Forward”, to be co-hosted by Kenya and France and scheduled to take place in Nairobi in 2026, during which the two ambassadors conveyed the invitation to the Chairperson.
