Somalia’s National consultative conference planed to be held today in Mogadishu delayed.
Puntland and Jubaland leaders sent their advanced and security detail teams but the Federal Government of Somalia turned down to arrive.
Planes carrying teams told to return their respective Cities as they also carry heavy weapons.
Both administrations leaders condemned what they pointed as murder attempt to their advanced team.
But Minister of Defence Ahmed Moallim Fiqi wrote to social media posts that both administrations breached the agreed number of security teams and loaded heavy weapons intended to other actors as he said.
Fiqi said “Mogadishu’s security at its best and there is no reason to smuggle those heavy weapons planed to undermine the City.”
Today the 1st day of Feb was the plan to kick off the meeting to discuss elections, Constitutional review misunderstandings and othe issues.
