Russian Federation sent to Somalia a cargo plane carrying food aid to Somalia to help drought effected communities in Somalia.
Russia’s Ambassador to Djibouti and Somalia, Somalia’s Minister of information and director of National disaster management agency were present at the receiving ceremony held inside Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
The plane loaded 25 ton of food aid sent by Russian Federation to the needy Somali people.
Disaster Management Agency director thanked to the Russian Federation and its people.
Hes mentioned that like today Russia sent aid to Somalia in 2023 when Somalia face similar drought situation.
